Know-how
The Boule wall peg is handcrafted in porcelain at the family-run factory in Limoges, France, thanks to the expertise of our craftsmen. It complements the hardware collection of the same name, which also includes a Bordeaux door handle, a cabinet knob and a door knob.
Inspiration
The Boule collection was inspired by antique 19th century gilded wooden tiebacks found by the designer. A tieback is a tie or cord that, when attached to a coat hook, is used to encircle a curtain and hold it draped to one side.
Uses
The Boule wall peg is a sculpted hook with a decorative purpose, like a wall sculpture. Originally designed as a clothes hook, it can be used to hang bulky items (coats, bags) or accessories (scarves). It can also be used to mount some of our hand lamps. We recommend pairing it with Bonaparte and Béhor, and for a more baroque style, with Paris.

Available in matte or enamel finish - Available in matte or enamel finish - We recommend tightening the screws gently by hand to avoid breaking the porcelain.

Each piece sold by Alix D. Reynis is marked with our chrome green stamp that guarantees it was entirely made in a manufacture in Limoges, France.

The designer

Strong in her ambitions, creative and patient, the aesthete Alix D. Reynis became a model maker, a latent passion for a craft to which she had previously been introduced. This professional change came after the birth of her fourth child, like a realisation for the self-taught law student. Alix devoted herself to sculpture for five years and returned to the notary's office. Meanwhile, by chance, she found a job as a construction manager. The creator then oscillates between two careers, one of the heart and the other of the mind.

In 2011, she took the plunge and created her eponymous brand. A way of shaking up the professional landscape she had been given and embracing a career that made sense, the legitimate joy of working with her hands.
